Authors who publish their manuscripts in the Lakhomi Journal of Law, Environmental and Justice agree to the following terms and conditions:

The copyright of any article published in the Lakhomi Journal of Law, Environmental and Justice is retained by the author(s) under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), with the following provisions:

  1. Authors acknowledge that the Lakhomi Journal of Law, Environmental and Justice has the right to publish the work for the first time under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
  2. Authors may distribute and reuse their published work separately, or arrange for non-exclusive distribution of the manuscript (e.g., deposit it in an institutional repository, include it in a book, or share it on other platforms), provided that they acknowledge the work’s initial publication in the Lakhomi Journal of Law, Environmental and Justice.
  3. Readers are permitted to download, use, and adapt the content of the article, as long as proper attribution is given — including the article title, author’s name, and the name of this journal. Such citation must be for the advancement of knowledge and humanity and must not violate any applicable laws.

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

Authors are not permitted to withdraw manuscripts that have already been submitted, as such withdrawal constitutes a waste of time and effort for both the editors and reviewers who have already worked on the manuscript.

If the author insists on withdrawing the submitted manuscript, a penalty fee of IDR 1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah) will be imposed. The withdrawal process will only be carried out by the editor after the author has made the payment and provided proof of payment to the editorial office of the Lakhomi Journal of Law, Environmental and Justice.

If the author refuses to pay the penalty fee, their name will be placed on the blacklist of the Lakhomi Journal of Law, Environmental and Justice. Furthermore, any previously published articles by the same author(s) may be removed from the journal’s archive.

The blacklist record will include the full name(s) of the author(s), their email address(es), and institutional affiliation(s).


Plagiarism Screening and Prevention

To prevent plagiarism, the Lakhomi Journal of Law, Environmental and Justice conducts a similarity check for all submitted manuscripts using Plagiarism Checker X or Turnitin.

The maximum allowable similarity index for submitted manuscripts is 35%. Any manuscript exceeding this threshold will be returned to the author for revision or rejected by the editorial board, depending on the level and nature of the similarity detected.


Article Processing Charges

To support the operational and sustainable publication process, the Lakhomi Journal of Law, Environmental and Justice implements the following fee policy:

  1. Manuscript Submission Fee: IDR 0 (free). Authors are not charged any fees when submitting their manuscripts for initial review.
  2. Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 0 (free). Authors are not required to pay any fees upon the publication of their articles.
  3. Fast Track Service (Optional): IDR 500,000. Authors who wish to expedite the review and publication process (within a maximum of 4 weeks from submission) may choose this service.

Penalty Fee (Manuscript Withdrawal): IDR 1,000,000. This fee is applied to authors who withdraw or cancel the publication of their articles after they have been published. Such withdrawal is considered a violation of editorial ethics and a form of disrespect toward the editorial process that has been completed.


Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses entered in the Lakhomi Journal of Law, Environmental and Justice will be used exclusively for the purposes of the Community Service Journal Platform and will not be made available for any other purpose or shared with any other party.
